Plan Summary
The Plan is a five year investment linked to the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index and the MSCI Taiwan Index (the “Basket”). The Plan includes an early exit feature (subject to conditions): after three years, if the Basket has risen in value by only 10% or more, investors can elect to exit the plan and receive a fixed return of 140%. If the early exit feature is not triggered, the opportunity for returns is not lost and the plan continues for the full five years. At maturity, investors can receive the return of their capital plus a competitive 3.15 times (315%) any growth in the Basket. • Plan managed by Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc (“MSI plc”), authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. • Five year investment term. • Three point one five (315%) times the growth of the basket unless the Early Exit Feature is triggered. • Capital protection provided by securities issued by Morgan Stanley. Morgan Stanley has a credit rating of A+ by Standard & Poor’s at the time of publication. In the event of Morgan Stanley going into liquidation or failing to comply with the terms of the securities, you may not receive the anticipated returns on your investment and you may lose all or part of the money you originally invested. This is not a guaranteed investment. • Single Early Exit Feature which provides for the possible early release of gains at the end of three years. • Pre-investment interest rate of 4.50% per annum. • Open for ISA transfers and Direct Investment including via Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs) and Small Self Administered Schemes (SSASs). • Open for ISA investments for 2008/09 - where you have not already fulfilled your annual entitlement. |
