Plan Summary
The Barclays special edition Global Titans Defined Plan seeks to bridge the gap between risk and return through diversification, significant investment protection, backed by the potential for an attractive pay-off at maturity.
The four-year Plan is linked to the Dow Jones Global
Titans 50 Index which measures the worlds 50 biggest
multinational companies Historically less volatile
than the FTSE 100, the index is well suited to a fixed
return pay-off structure, requiring minimal growth to
deliver a highly competitive return. Investors receive a fixed 50% return as long as the Index is at least at its starting level at maturity.
Back testing shows that 70% of investors would
have received the fixed return, with 99.5% getting at
least their capital back. Capital will be returned in full unless the index has fallen by 50 per cent at any time and is below its starting level at maturity. (If this occurs, capital will be lost 1:1 with the Index.) This is a capital at risk product. Four-year investment term Returns taxed as capital gains utilise CGT allowances to receive potentially tax-free returns Ideal for pension portfolio investment within a SIPP or SSAS Minimum investment £5000 |
